Social Smoke Baja Blue

Baja Blue is closely related to the Starbuzz flavor, Blue Mist. It is a sweet blueberry flavor set atop a light mint sensation. The blueberry taste is a candy caricature of the real thing, but that is not a negative point. The sweetness melds just about perfectly with the mint to create something that isn’t obnoxiously fruity and sweet, but isn’t mild and bland either.

Social Smoke Mobster Review

At first taste, Mobster is a confusing flavor. It is a candy, sweet, fruity flavor with a floral finish. It’s very difficult to compare to something in the real world, which adds to the confusion. The scent is that of candy dipping sticks (you know, the giant Pez that you lick and then dip in Pixi Stick dust?), but the taste betrays the smell. They’re almost nothing alike. The smell is extremely sweet, but the flavor, while sweet, is far more mild. Mobster could also be compared to another Social Smoke flavor, The Edge. However, Mobster is only a mild sweetness, with a noticeably more intense floral finish.

Hookafina Cantaloupe

Being compared to Nakhla’s Sweet Melon, the standard for the cantaloupe flavour among hookah smokers, this tobacco measures up very well. Unlike Nakhla’s Sweet Melon however, Hookafina Cantaloupe is more of a candy tasting cantaloupe, which is not all a bad thing. The sweetness is strong, but not overpowering so that it looses the cantaloupe flavouring. This flavour also mixes wonderfully with mint.

Social Smoke The Edge Review

The Edge flavor is difficult to nail down. There is a subtle candy-watermelon taste and likely some blended berries as well. But the overall taste is a kind of candy rush—very sweet, but with a delicate floral finish.

Social Smoke Absolute Zero Review

Absolute Zero is an intense mint/spearmint flavor, and in that way, it is fairly simple. However, Social Smoke has made some very subtle adjustments to the mint flavor. There is an extremely subtle sweet berry flavor underneath the mint. Identifying the berry is difficult. Blueberry is likely, but the flavor is so well hidden it’s not especially important. Thanks to this welcome addition of sweetness, Absolute Zero tastes less like a mint leaf and more like a very cold glass of Vitamin Water.

Hookafina Pink Grapefruit Review

Pink Grapefruit is a nice alternative to all the sweet melons and watermelon flavours on the market today. It is very unique, but the flavour is not as powerful as the smell indicates. Because it is not very intense, it can be smoked fairly often and is a nice addition to anyones collection.

Social Smoke Lemon Chill Review

Lemon Chill is a simple flavor combination of lemon and mint. The lemon is not a candy flavor, but a more realistic representation. It’s only lightly sweet and the mint is very potent, but not overpowering of the lemon flavor. Unfortunately the lemon flavor does have the slightest hint of something chemical. But it’s extremely subtle and most likely will not even notice.

Nakhla Mandarin Orange Review

Nakhla Mandarin Orange is a more realistic orange flavor than many other brands. It does indeed taste very much like a Clementine or Orange Cutie. It’s sweet, but not overpowering and only very slightly tart. As is typical for Nakhla tobacco, the natural tobacco flavor does shine through, though it’s a soft undertone in this case.

Romman Berry Breeze Review

Romman Berry Breeze is sweet and tart. From the picture on the front of the box, it appears to be a composite of strawberry and blueberry. While neither of those flavors are terribly obvious at first, the taste does pretty closely match a drink or smoothie made from those berries. The sweetness is not overpowering, nor is the tartness, but the balance seems to be somewhat unsatisfying, though I’m unsure I could truly criticize constructively. Something just seems to be amiss.

Romman Honey Dew Review

Romman Honey Dew is not to be confused with honeydew melon. They are not the same flavor, though it’s clearly a play on words. Honey Dew is a melon-honey blend. The aroma is a strong honey smell, while the taste is a more mild honey flavor mixed with a distinct sweet melon. The flavor is warm and bright, but not so intense as to sap the enjoyment out.
