Cut & Composition

As is customary to Starbuzz, the cut is a medium cut and is very wet. There were very few stems to be found, and the ones that were found were small and smokeable. The tobacco itself is dyed red as can be seen above.

The Set-Up

This review was written after 3 smoking sessions, one that is is process as this is being written. It has been smoked out a Khalil Mamoon hookah with both an Alien mini phunnel bowl and a Tangiers small phunnel bowl using Chronic Hookah coals.

The Experience

At first smell, the shisha smells extremely good and very, very sweet. I also detected a hint of a tangy smell when smelling the tobacco, perhaps orange or lemon. With two Chronic Hookah coals and one layer of foil, the shisha started to produce amazing smoke and good flavour after 3 – 5 pulls. Unfortunately however, the flavour does not last the whole session and usually leaves about 20 minutes into the session with the Small, and 10 minutes with the Alien. After the flavour leaves, you can continue to smoke the shisha without any flavour but still nice clouds or add a new set of coals to the other side.

The Flavour

Unfortunately, great flavour does not come with the great smell. Even with how strong and amazing the smell was, the flavour was just not there. From what was there though, there was no sweet taste and the tangy taste definitely dominated over all the flavour. Like what is said above, when the flavour leaves, what is left is just great smoke clouds. Very disappointing!

The Insight

Hands down one of my least favourite Starbuzz tobaccos. I do not know how to explain it any better than I already have. From the smell and the quality of other Starbuzz products that I have had, I was really expecting something a lot better and it just was not there.

Who Should Try This Flavor

People who really enjoy quick sessions will probably enjoy this flavour as it does not last that long. Also, people who enjoy tangy flavours such as orange or pineapple will probably enjoy this too. Anyone who is just in it for the clouds, this is also for you. Other than that, I would really not recommend this flavour to many people.
