Cut & Composition

Tonic White Peach is a “Made in America”, medium cut, extremely juicy tobacco. There are some moderately sized stems and tobacco leaves, some of which need to be plucked out to avoid any disruption in packing the bowl.

The Experience

White Peach began smoking after only a few minutes. The richest of flavor and smoke were available in the first five minutes. The tobacco was more resilient to heat than many other brands, keeping the flavor fully intact, even through changes in heat, and still delivering thick smoke. The session lasted about an hour and a half before the smoke started to die out. Though the flavor was still present even after an hour and forty-five minutes.

The Flavor

White Peach is a sweet, peach flavor. It is both sweet and mild at the same time. The flavor is a softer, lighter peach with virtually no hint of tartness, which when coupled with the sweetness, would often make for a kind of candy-version of the peach flavor. In this case, not so. White Peach is both surprisingly realistic, and very easy to smoke.

The Insight

I am a major fan of peach flavors, I love pretty much all of them. Tonic’s White Peach, in terms of flavor, doesn’t stand head and shoulders above the rest. In fact, most are quite good, I think. But, Tonic’s version does shine in its resilience and longevity. It’s easy to smoke, hard to mess up and lasts a good long time. It also should be noted that Tonic’s White Peach makes an excellent tobacco for mixing, when your recipe calls for more realistic flavors.
