Cut & Composition

Tonic After Sex is a medium cut, extremely juicy tobacco. There are some moderately sized stems, some of which need to be plucked out to avoid any disruption in packing the bowl.

The Experience

Tonic Exotic Watermelon smells much like the other watermelon flavors on the market, like very sweet candy. It began smoking within the first few draws and the flavor and smoke was the richest after about five minutes. The session lasted about an hour and a half before the smoke and flavor dropped off quickly.

The Flavor

Tonic Exotic Watermelon is not unique. It tastes very, very much like the other watermelon flavors on the market. In terms of real world comparisons, it’s about as close to watermelon flavored Bubbleyum as you can get outside of actually buying the gum. It does not taste bad per se, but it begs the question of who would want to taste bubbleyum for an hour and a half. The taste is somewhat like the real thing, but an extremely sweet (almost sickly so) caricature of the real thing.

The Insight

Admittedly, I have never been a fan of watermelon flavored shisha tobacco, but the industry’s consistent inability to replicate the real thing makes me scratch my head. This particular watermelon flavor is so sweet it’s very difficult to stomach.

Who Should Try This Flavor

I cannot recommend this flavor. However, if you’re already a fan of the watermelon flavors on the market, you will likely enjoy this one as well.
