Cut & Composition

Hookah-Freak Mad Hatter is a long, stringy cut tobacco akin to roll-your-own cigarette tobacco. It is very moist, but more wet and oily than sticky. There are virtually no stems to be found.

The Experience

Berry Bang began smoking within the first five minutes. The smoke and flavor were the richest within the first ten minutes. In Sahara Smoke’s own Vortex Bowl, the tobacco was sufficiently resilient to the heat, allowing it to smoke with little attention given to the bowl. From smaller bowls, the flavor could easily be burnt up leaving a bland tobacco taste. The session lasted about an hour and twenty minutes before the smoke and flavor dropped off significantly.

The Flavor

Berry Bang is a blend of berry flavors and a very light spearmint sensation. The flavor is a little less sweet and a bit more tart.

The Insight

Berry Bang was easy to smoke. Though it also wasn’t anything especially impressive. I would expect that most people will enjoy it, but few would really fall in love with it, making it a daily smoke.

Who Should Try This Flavor

Fans of mild fruit and berry flavors will enjoy this one, though most should feel comfortable giving it a go and few will probably regret the decision to try it out.
