Cut & Composition

JM’s Rose is a fine cut, medium wet tobacco, though it is more oily than slimy. When mixed well, the juices will leave your fingers good and sticky. There are a few small stems mixed amongst the tobacco, though nothing that will get in the way of packing your bowl.

The Experience

JM’s Rose began smoking almost instantly. Within just a couple of minutes, the smoke and flavor were at their richest. The tobacco remained surprisingly resilient to overheating, with the flavor remaining unchanged. While smoking, the tobacco produced no head-buzz whatsoever. The session lasted about an hour and twenty minutes before the smoke and flavor dropped off sharply.

The Flavor

Rose is just as the name implies. Rose. However, JM’s take on the flavor is refreshing. Rather than tasting like you’re smoking a bowl of potpourri, it has a sweet edge to it that makes an otherwise extreme floral flavor much more accessible. The flavor of rose is, however, difficult to describe. The simplest, and most likely clearest explanation is that it tastes very much the way a real rose smells.

The Insight

JM’s Rose, besides being a tasty flavor on its own, also mixes very well with other flavors. Popular energy drink flavors can be mimicked at home by mixing JM’s rose with berry, apple, and pineapple flavors.

Who Should Try This Flavor

Fans of other rose flavors will probably find this one more than acceptable.  Other floral fans, some of whom may find rose flavors too intense, will probably be able to enjoy this too. Everyone else, remember that rose flavors are unique and sometimes kind of intense. Tread with caution.
