Cut & Composition

JM’s Melon Medley is a fine cut, medium wet tobacco, though it is more oily than slimy. When mixed well, the juices will leave your fingers good and sticky. There are a few small stems mixed amongst the tobacco, though nothing that will get in the way of packing your bowl.

The Experience

JM’s Melon Medley began smoking within just a few minutes. The flavor and smoke were the fullest after about 5 minutes. The tobacco produced no head-buzz whatsoever. The session lasted about an hour and thirty minutes before the smoke and flavor dropped off sharply.

The Flavor

Melon Medley, as the name would suggest, is a hodgepodge of other melon flavors. Most likely Honey Dew, Cantaloupe and Watermelon. However, the flavors are indistinct and the overall taste is ambiguous. If you’re a frequent hookah smoker, the flavor will be similar to Nakhla and Al Fakher’s Sweet Melon, only slightly more mild. In real world comparisons, the flavor is very much like a candy-cantaloupe.

The Insight

Melon Medley is tasty. But not altogether different than other, less expensive flavors of the same kind. While JM’s version is tasty, it’s unlikely that I would go out of my way to choose it.

Who Should Try This Flavor

Fans of sweet fruit flavors, and specifically melon flavors, can’t go wrong here.
